Tennille Faucette McGaw - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Tennille was born in Lee County, NC and now resides in Aberdeen. Tennille has been part of Family Eye Care of the Carolinas team since the birth of the practice, recently celebrating a decade of service. She has maintained certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant since 2000 and exhibits uncanny talent working with children. Tennille also is the site coordinator for the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG). In her free time, Tennille enjoys spending time with her daughter Cassidy, traveling, scrapbooking, “people watching,” and trying new foods.

 

 Cassandra L. Rhodes - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Cassie is a native of Sanford, NC, and currently makes her home in Aberdeen with her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Millie.  She received a B.S degree with a concentration in Healthcare from Methodist College in 2003 and joined Family Eyecare of the Carolinas in October of 2004.   Shortly after coming to FECC, Cassie obtained her certification as an ophthalmic assistant.  In her free time, Cassie takes pride in being the number one Kenny Chesney fan, playing softball, watching movies, and spending time with her family.  Cassie is also a rabid Tarheels basketball fan, cheering on the Tarheels every chance she gets. On the weekends, Cassie enjoys going to the lake and attending races with her Husband, Matthew.

 

 Charlene M. Foley - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Charlene is a native of Syracuse, NY.  She makes her home in Carthage with her husband David, and daughter, Addison.  Adding to the joyful household are Charlene's two dogs, "Maggie" and "Princess."  In her spare time, Charlene sings soprano in her church choir, crochets and knits scarves, and enjoys rooting on her favorite football and basketball teams, UNC and WV.  Charlene is a certified Phlebotomist, and has currently obtained her certification as an ophthalmic assitant in October 2011.

 

 Leah M. Kelly - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Leah M. Kelly hails from Florida and relocated to the Sandhills in 1998.  She came to Family Eye Care in June 2008 and is currently working on obtaining her certification.  In her spare time, Leah enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs Zero, Scraps, and Angiss.  She also enjoys reading, art, and music.  Leah recently has obtained her ceritification as an ophthalmic assistant October 2011. 

 

 Lauren Simmons - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Lauren has deep family roots in Ellerbe, NC.  She came to Family Eye Care in May 2009 and is currently working on obtaining her certification.  Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones on the weekends and is the proud new aunt of a beautiful niece.  Lauren has recently obtained her certification as an ophthalmic assistant in October 2011.

 

 Sabrina Shelley - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Sabrina is also a native of Ellerbe, NC. She is excited to begin her training to become a certified ophthalmic technician. Sabrina married her high school sweetheart. She and her husband recently vacationed in Hawaii. They have four dogs who love to go out on boat rides.  Sabrina has recently obtained her certification as an ophthalmic assistant in October 2011.
