Family Eye Care of the Carolinas offers full eye and vision services, providing emergency care as well as scheduled appointments. Patients throughout the Sandhills area and beyond come to Family Eye Care of the Carolinas because they are confident that they will receive the personal attention and professional care that is our foundation. Dr. Bartiss and our team are dedicated to always keeping our patients comfortable and well-informed. We will take the time to explain every exam and procedure and answer any questions you may have. Additionally, at Family Eye Care of the Carolinas, we offer vision financing options and will work with most medical insurance providers, as well as Community Eye Care to ensure good eye health and vision care for our patients.


Our Approach to eye health and vision care


Our one-on-one approach to quality eye care makes our doctors and staff the choice in the Sandhills area. Our doctors offer the following services: pediatric eye exams, adult eye exams, eye surgery exams (eye misalignment, tear duct blockage, droopy lid repair), double vision exams and contact lens exams. At Family Eye Care of the Carolinas, we are dedicated to providing high-quality services in a comfortable environment. 


Ophthalmic exams require our staff to be in close proximity to all patients (inches, not feet). We strive to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible during the current pandemic as well as any other time of the year. We are a well care office. Please refrain from coming to our office if you are experiencing ANY symptoms of illness. We will be happy to reschedule you to a safer time.
